It regularly wins independent awards voted for by its customers, including Which? Recommended Broadband Provider and PC Pro Best ISP. Challenge Zen Internet inherited a number of facility service contracts for its headquarters in Rochdale, which was previously occupied by a company that had ceased trading. Some of these contracts brought with them a number of issues that were becoming increasingly difficult to resolve. Following a settling-in period, Zen’s office services manager Lana Thomson undertook a complete review of all facility service contracts. She identified a number of facility services that would be managed by one provider: Daily and Periodical Cleaning Window Cleaning Carpet Cleaning Deep Kitchen Cleaning Pest Control Feminine Hygiene and Janitorial Supplies AM Support was successful in winning this work, and our contract began in February 2009. Solution Employment contracts for the existing support team were transferred to AM Support Services, and we quickly identified performance levels and potentials for our new staff. Work practices and cleaning methods were also developed and implemented alongside a full staff training programme. A newly appointed supervisor was given the support, training and guidance she needed to learn her role and she quickly developed her skills to a level where she is now able to fully manage this contract on site. Testimonial AM Support Services Ltd was successful in our tender for the office cleaning, window cleaning, pest control and feminine hygiene. A three- year cleaning contract was awarded here at Zen in February 2009. We had many quality and service issues with our incumbent provider that remained unresolved since occupying the building the previous year. AM, since day one, has provided and maintained an excellent standard of service with the same on site cleaning team which is testament to their structure, training, processes and the hard work of their management team.
